Sunset on Lake Michigan on a frozen winter day. The high lake level combined with icy winds and breaking waves turned the chain barrier into a cascading wall of ice.
In Northwest Indiana
A still-warm sunny autumn day brings out brilliant colors under a beautiful blue sky. Early October is a blaze of color that sadly is often gone too soon. (Note: The color in this photograph has NOT been enhanced.)
Barrelling down the rails under a full head of steam, some sort of time-warp put this 1800's scene in 1969. Believe it or not, this shot was taken with a Kodak Instamatic 104 with Belgian Black & White film. The film was developed in a windowless men's room because the darkroom was locked for the weekend. As a side note, the locomotive passed within four feet of the photographer...

On Michigan Avenue in Chicago, looking north to the Prudential Building where the office lights have been turned off, leaving a cross pattern. A scene that lasted only moments, but was very beautiful and calming amid the bustle of shoppers and commuters one chilly evening before Christmas. (Circa 1969)
