St. Peter Faith Formation Program is available to registered families of St. Peter Parish who have children enrolled in a public elementary school, Preschool through 8th. grade.
St. Peter Parish Faith Formation Philosophy
The prime concern of St. Peter Faith Formation Program is to nurture the seeds of faith implanted within the child. Faith is a precious gift of God. It is not something which can be taught. However, the catechists, the staff, and the parents working together can be a source of life to help the seeds of faith mature, through formal faith formation and implementing the threefold purpose of Christian education: To witness the MESSAGE of faith, in order to develop a COMMUNITY, who sees as its mission the SERVICE of God's people. Faith formation is more than just a classroom exercise. It is bound up with one's entire life, a life of daily Christian living1
Registration
Registration for students to attend St. Peter Faith Formation takes places in the spring of the school year. A baptismal certificate is required at time of registration. Pre-school students must be 3 years old by June 1st. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by June 1st. Students currently enrolled in classes are automatically moved to the next grade level at the end of school year.
Tuition
Tuition is $65.00 per year for each family plus books.
Tuition and book fees are payable at the Office and should be paid by the first class. If financial difficulties arise please contact the office to discuss this matter. NO CHILD IS TURNED AWAY DUE TO FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES.
