Sacrament Policy
The Parish Council, Education and the Liturgy Commissions of St. Peter Parish, LaPorte Indiana has adopted the following policy for the reception of the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
BAPTISM- For parents
who wish to have their child baptized into the Catholic faith. The Baptismal Program meets
four times a year: For information or registration contact Fr. Joseph A. Angotti
362-6186.
RECONCILIATION- For students
who are 7 years old or older and attend the Faith Formation Program. One-year prior formation is necessary. Sacrament will be administered during the Lenten
Season. Participation in Reconciliation
program for both student and parent is required.
EUCHARIST- For students
who are 8 years old and older and attend the Faith Formation Program. One-year prior formation is necessary. Sacrament will be administered during the Easter
Season. Participation in the Eucharist
program for both student and parent is required.
CONFIRMATION- For students
who are 13 years old and older and attend the Faith Formation Program. Two years prior formation is necessary. Sacrament will be administered based on
Bishops schedule. Participation in the Confirmation program for student, parent or
sponsor is required.
ANOINTING OF
THE SICK For all
members of the Church, usually twice a year within the Church community, but anytime upon
request or emergency. Contact Fr. Joseph A.

MARRIAGE- For those
couples who are wishing to be married in the Church.
The Marriage Program meets four times a year at 2:00 p.m. in the Parish Center. Contact Fr. Joseph A. Angotti for
registration or information six (6) months to one (1) year prior to wedding.
RCIA/RCIC- (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults/Children)
For Those individuals who are seeking entrance into the Catholic Faith. For information concerning adult initiation
contact Fr. Joseph A. Angotti or Sandra Ransom, for information concerning
Childrens initiation contact Sandra Ransom.
